Justin Poggioli, President

Justin works as a Technical Manager for a technology firm that specializes in speech recognition software.
He has supported the New York Philharmonic, the American Red Cross and the Orange County Land Trust.
Justin is very excited to be involved with an organization that supports and encourages volunteerism.

Carol Hickman, Vice President

Carol Hickman has a BSBA and MBA from the University of Colorado. A
Colorado native, she has spent more than 25 years working in the
healthcare industry, beginning her career as a candy striper at a local
hospital at the age of 14. She currently works for Great-West
Healthcare in Denver on the Customer Experience team. Experience
includes training and development, process and improvement,
organizational development, and managed care.
Carol has continued to serve her community over the years, which has
included participating in organizations or activities such as the
National Ski Patrol, Denver Dumb Friends League, the Right 2 Read
Program, and is currently very active in fundraising and supporting the breast
cancer crusade.

Gale Altman Vice-Chair

Gale Altman is the President and CEO of the Transglobal Business Council,
a non-profit organization that seeks to advance international trade development
and economic growth on a global scale. She also works for the NCQA, another
non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of healthcare.
With nearly 30 years of experience in a variety of industries, she has worked
as an executive at Lifeclinic International, Acumen Solutions, Great-West Healthcare,
Anthem BCBS, TCAssociates, and Alligar. Her work as Chapter President of the
Rocky Mountain's PDMA was highlighted in the Denver Business Journal.
Gale Altman is credited with significantly increasing membership in the organization,
making it an important source of information and networking for professionals.
Gale Altman is also active in global-level professional organizations where her
industry-wide knowledge makes her a valuable resource to other professionals.
A member of the World Affairs Council and National Association of Manufacturers,
and numerous healthcare associations, she is often invited to participate in
Steering Committees, International Trade Regulatory Policy panels,
Healthcare Reform initiatives, and speaking engagements.
Gale Altman holds a BS in Marketing from DeSales University, as well as an MBA
from Lehigh University. In addition, she holds a Chartered Life Underwriter
designation from the American College. She has been certified as a physical
trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and to add to her list of
impressive accomplishments, she is licensed as a pilot.

Jennifer Knippen Secretary

Ms. Jennifer Knippen most recently has earned her M.B.A. in Global Management from Thunderbird,
School of Global Management. She also holds dual degrees in Economics and Multinational Business
from Florida State University. Her work experience includes strategic human resources,
project management, and sales within large global firms in the telecommunications and construction industries.
Currently, Jennifer is pursuing her PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Florida.
Jennifer strongly believes in the importance of volunteerism and has supported a number of organizations.
Her most recent involvement was leading a team in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day, 60-mile
Event in Arizona. It was an incredible experience and one that she wishes to repeat again in the near future.
Jennifer has also volunteered with the following organizations: Habitat for Humanity, Team in
Training-Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Centro Catolico del Espirito Santo-English Teacher.

Paul Hosch Treasurer

Mr. Paul W. Hosch is currently Senior Co-Founder of LANonprofitCareers.com.
He has a comprehensive knowledge of nonprofit development through his work with the
Netzel-Grigsby Associates, University of Southern California, the Alzheimer’s Association,
and the American Heart Association. Paul has experience as a nonprofit consultant
leading capital campaigns, major gifts, annual giving, corporate gifts, foundation relations,
and board development.
In addition to his service to the Platinum Torch National Honorary Society,
Paul serves as the Secretary of the Board to Santa Monica College and sits on the
board of The Serpentine Project.
He earned his bachelor degree in business administration from the University of
Southern California Marshall School of Business and is currently completing his master’s degree
in Nonprofit Administration at the University of San Francisco.

Fred Kipperman, Founder/Board Member

Mr. Kipperman is a graduate of
the University of Arizona Eller College of Business and Rogers College of Law
and is an attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona and Texas.
Mr. Kipperman is currently
working with the RAND Corporation's Institute for Civil Justice. He has
worked on capital campaigns and fund raising initiatives for the University of
Arizona, New Jersey Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and the
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He serves on the national board
of directors of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity and is affiliated with American Bar
Association, National Conference on Planned Giving, Council on Advancement of
Secondary Education, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Leave a Legacy
and AIPAC. He remains hopeful that by encouraging volunteerism our shared
future will be enhanced.

Susan Puder, Executive Director

Ms. Puder, a graduate of Trenton
State College, has extensive experience as a business analyst in the retail,
insurance and financial services fields. She currently works as an educator.
She was a Technology Specialist for the e-Business initiative at a
major financial services corporation, and was a winner of the AXA Foundation
Community Leadership Award.
Ms. Puder was named in The
Marquis 'Who's Who in the East' due to her many years of volunteer work in New
Jersey. She was Past President of the following organizations: Union
Township Board of Health, Eastern Union County WYCA, Union
County Women's Political Caucus, and has volunteered with St. Hubert's
Animal Shelter and the New Jersey Special Olympics. |
